Blackwood Woman Wanted in Gloucester County on Warrant

Karen Leonetti failed to appear in state Superior Court in Woodbury on a drug-possession charge, authorities said.

Karen M. Leonetti, 53, of Washington Way Apartments, Blackwood, is wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office on a warrant.  Leonetti failed to appear in state Superior Court in Woodbury on April 24, 2013 for a pre-arraignment interview on a narcotics possession charge.  Leonetti is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair.  On Nov. 10, 2012, a Washington Township police officer stopped a vehicle on the Black Horse Pike in pursuit of a wanted person, since the vehicle was registered to a man with several outstanding warrants. The driver was arrested for providing false information, and the passenger, Leonetti, was arrested on an outstanding Camden County warrant. During a search of her belongings…

Skyler Robinson, Suspect in K-9 Schultz's Death, Back in Jail

Skyler Robinson, 22, was arrested Monday by Gloucester County authorities. He was on that county sheriff's most wanted list for charges unrelated to the K-9's death.

Skyler Robinson’s meeting on a drug rehab program—which will allow him to avoid trial on charges he killed a police K-9—ended with him back in jail Monday. Robinson, 22, was arrested at Superior Court in Camden County by the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Fugitive Unit, the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office and the Camden County Sheriff’s Office. It turns out he was No. 4 on the Gloucester County sheriff’s most wanted list. Robinson is known locally as a suspect in the death of Gloucester Township Police K-9 Schultz on Nov. 30, 2010. Prosecutors: Try Teens Charged in Autumn Pasquale's Murder as Adults

The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office will ask a judge to waive the brothers to adult court.

Prosecutors want to try two teenage brothers as adults in the slaying of a 12-year-old Clayton girl.  The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office announced Thursday it will file a motion in the Family Division of state Superior Court in Woodbury asking a judge to waive the brothers, ages 15 and 17, to adult court, where they would face more serious punishment if convicted. The are charged with murder in the slaying of Autumn Pasquale, a Clayton, Gloucester County girl whose body was found Oct. 22 in a recycling bin.   Prosecutors alleged the brothers lured the girl into their home with the promise of parts for her BMX Odyssey bicycle, which she had been riding when she left her West High Street home around 12:30 on Oct. 20, and then …

Alleged Antifreeze Killer Anne Castagna Charged with Murder, Bail Increased

Anne Castagna is accused of using antifreeze to poison her elderly in-law at a rehab facility in Deptford. The victim died Thursday.

The Brooklawn woman accused of fatally poisoning her grandmother-in-law with antifreeze now faces a murder charge.  Anne Castagna was served with the new charge at the Gloucester County Jail after the victim, 88-year-old Mary Groatman, was taken off life support by her family Thursday afternoon. Authorities served Groatman with the charge in the presence of her attorney, Fred Last.  In light of the more serious charge, Judge Walter L. Marshall Jr. increased Castagna's bail from $250,000 to $350,000 full cash.  Castagna, 43, was initially charged with two counts of attempted murder and a single count of aggravated assault.  She allegedly slipped Mary Groatman, her husband’s grandmother, antifreeze in some form Sunday afternoon at the …

Angel I. Bobe of Blackwood Wanted By Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office

The Blackwood man failed to appear for a pre-arraignment interview on charges including aggravated assault, prosecutors said.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office seeks the public's help in locating a township man considered a fugitive.  Angel I. Bobe, 34, of Washington Way Apartments in Blackwood, failed to appear in state Superior Court in Woodbury on April 16, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.  He was scheduled to appear for a pre-arraignment interview on charges of aggravated assault, weapons offenses and making terroristic threats.  Bobe is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Former Blackwood Resident Pleads Guilty To Brutal Attack on Cabbie in Deptford

Randy S. James Jr. has a history of psychiatric problems, prosecutors said.

A former Blackwood resident with a history of psychiatric problems admitted Friday that he robbed and slashed the throat of a cab driver in Deptford.  Randy S. James Jr., 22, pleaded guility in state Superior Court in Woodbury to a first-degree count of robbery in the incident on June 10, 2010.  The cab driver, a 37-year-old Stratford resident who had picked James up in Clementon, survived the attack. He was hospitalized for five days at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Under a negotiated plea, Trial Chief Mary Pyffer of the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office will recommend that James be sentenced to 12 years state prison, pay restitution to the victim and have no further contact with him, undergo a psychological evaluation and …

Serial Robbery Suspect Arrested in Maple Shade

James Paul Taormina faces multiple charges for allegedly robbing convenience stores and a bank over the last two weeks.

An alleged serial robber’s two-week, one-man crime spree came to an end Thursday, as members of the U.S. Marshal’s and Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office’s fugitive task forces arrested him at a Maple Shade motel after an extensive, multi-jurisdiction investigation, the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office announced Friday. James Paul Taormina, 30, who has previous addresses in Turnersville and Atco, was caught at the Clover Motel on Route 73 in Maple Shade and initially charged with the Feb. 10 robbery of the TD Bank on Route 42 in Washington Township.
