Leaf Collection in Gloucester Twp. Begins Next Week

If you're in one of the communities scheduled for pickup Nov. 12-15, you're supposed to get nice weather to rake this weekend.

The Public Works Department is scheduled to begin leaf collection next week. If you're lucky enough to have your neighborhood included in the first-week collection, the National Weather Service forecast is looking great for you to get your raking done this weekend—sunny skies both days and high temperatures in the upper 50s Saturday and mid-60s Sunday. Residents are reminded to keep all leaves, unbagged, at curbside. If you must use bags, the Public Works Department reminds you to only use paper bags. It is recommended that residents rake or blow leaves to the curb the weekend before your scheduled collection week. Leaf Collection Dates Set

Gloucester Township will collect leaves curbside in a five-part operation beginning in mid-November.

The leaves that are changing to vibrant red and orange today will be on the ground tomorrow. Gloucester Township's Public Works Department has released a townwide schedule for curbside pickup of leaves. Public Works collects the leaves in a five-part sweep of town, moving from north to south. Each section has a three- or four-day window of when the leaves will be picked up.
