New Jersey Aid for Animals board member Kelly Matthews, a Gloucester Township resident, submitted the following to Patch: Checkers is a sweet, 8-week-old kitten who is full of spunk! This little one loves his stuffed flamingo, and loves playing with the kids in his foster family. Once he’s sleepy, he loves to cuddle up with his people. He’s confident and already knows to use his litter box and scratch post, so he’ll be the perfect addition to a fun-loving family! Magellan is a sweet puppy who arrived at the shelter over the summer. Magellan had a serious skin condition, but he recovered in foster care and is all ready for his forever home. He’s a great young pup, who has been raised with young children and loves them.
