Leave Food in Mailbox May 14
Help Food Bank of South Jersey by supporting the "Stamp Out Hunger" campaign.
The good folks at Food Bank of South Jersey hope you will make your mailman work a little harder than usual one Saturday next month. They're pretty sure the mailman won't mind. Leave a can or two, or three or four, of non-perishable food in your mailbox on May 14 in support of the National Association of Letter Carriers' (NALC) Stamp Out Hunger campaign. All food donated locally will be turned over to Food Bank of South Jersey for distribution to its network of partner agencies in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester and Salem counties. “It’s a short walk from your kitchen to your mailbox, but those small steps you take are part of a giant effort to help the needy, and your donation will mean so much to the people we serve,” said Food Bank of …
