A Camden woman is charged with robbing the Chews Landing Road Rite Aid at gunpoint.

A Camden woman is charged with robbing the Chews Landing Road Rite Aid at gunpoint Tuesday night, and police are crediting a taxi driver with aiding in the woman's apprehension. The taxi driver, having witnessed an employee struggling with the woman inside the store, refused to let her enter the cab, according to Gloucester Township Police Deputy Chief David Harkins. The robbery suspect, identified by police as Lauren J. Bianco, 28, of Camden's Tamarac Apartments, turned herself in Wednesday afternoon around 4:30 following an extensive manhunt that began shortly after the robbery. GTPD: Woman Steals $200 in Items from Rite Aid

Police release surveillance video showing a woman filling her handbag with items and leaving the Blackwood Clementon Road store without paying for them.

Police say a woman stole nearly $200 in goods from the Blackwood Clementon Road Rite Aid on Jan. 14. The problem for her is the crime was caught by the store's surveillance video cameras. Gloucester Township Police CrimeStoppers released the video to the public on Wednesday in hopes someone can identify the shoplifting suspect, described in a police statement as a stocky, white female with shoulder-length, dark hair. As you will see in the video, the suspect was wearing a red shirt, black coat, dark pants and white sneakers during the shoplifting incident. Police Seek Rite Aid Shoplifters

Police say the duo stole items from the Blackwood Clementon Road drugstore last Thursday.

Gloucester Township Police CrimeStoppers has released surveillance video footage that shows a male and female duo stealing various items from the Blackwood Clementon Road Rite Aid last Thursday evening. Police described both suspects as white and the female suspect as "stocky." The shoplifting incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17. The male was wearing a light blue, hooded Hollister sweatshirt, black jeans and black and white sneakers. The female was wearing a white, hooded coat, a gray, hooded shirt, black yoga-type pants, dark shoes and glasses. GTPD: Duo Used Counterfeit Bills at Rite Aid

Gloucester Township Police CrimeStoppers on Tuesday released surveillance images of a duo that allegedly used two counterfeit $10 bills to pay for items at the Blackwood Clementon Road Rite Aid over the weekend. The crime occurred around 9:15 p.m. Saturday. The suspects—a male and a female—reportedly walked around the Rite Aid store for several minutes before paying for several low-cost items with the fake bills. A cashier did not immediately notice the bills were counterfeit, and made the correct change on the purchase, police said. Police described both suspects as white. Police ask that anyone with information about these shoplifting suspects call the township's anonymous crime tip line at 856-842-5560 or police dispatch at 856-228-4500, or send an email to police@gtpolice.com. The shoplifting incident occurred around 9 a.m. The duo is accused of stealing $211 worth of items from the drugstore.

GTPD: Social Media Tip Leads to Rite Aid Theft Arrest

A female suspect initially sought by police faces no charges.

A Clementon man reportedly has confessed to stealing about $70 worth of hair-care products from the Blackwood Clementon Road Rite Aid, and authorities are crediting a tip from a social media follower with his arrest. On Tuesday, Gloucester Township Police posted photos of a male suspect and female suspect from a Sept. 13 shoplifting incident at the drugstore to a number of social media sites, including Facebook, Google+ and Twitter. A short time later, police received an anonymous tip and were able to identify the male suspect as Robert Greenland, 27, of Spring Lake Drive, in Clementon. Greenland allegedly stole a bottle of hair-coloring formula from the drugstore following an argument with a store clerk. Greenland and the female suspect …

GTPD Seeking Man in Wallet Theft

A Rite Aid employee's wallet is stolen Saturday.

Gloucester Township Police Department is seeking the public's help identifying a man who is wanted for questioning in reference to the theft of a Blackwood Clementon Road Rite Aid employee’s wallet over the weekend. The theft occurred around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The suspect is a thin-built black male with close-cropped hair and possibly close-cropped facial hair, police said. He was wearing a V-neck, white T-shirt, dark pants and white-over-black sneakers, and was carrying a cell phone with a white outer case. He also was wearing black ear buds that were plugged into the phone. Police Seek ID of Rite Aid Shoplifter

Police say an AT&T GoPhone cell phone was stolen from the Blackwood Clementon Road Rite Aid.

Police have released surveillance images of a man they say stole a prepaid AT&T cell phone from a Gloucester Township Rite Aid. The crime occurred around 10:25 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23, according to a Gloucester Township Police Department Crime Stoppers announcement issued Monday morning. The suspect is described as a black male who is missing several teeth and had a bald head at the time of the shoplifting incident. He was wearing a white T-shirt, dark shorts, white socks and dark Nike sandals, and was carrying a black bag, police said.
