Three Charged in Alleged Jewelry Theft, Cash-for-Gold Deceit

Gloucester Township Police arrested three men in a jewelry heist—one for allegedly stealing the goods and two at a cash-for-gold shop who ran afoul of the law, police say. Anthony Sciacca, 29, of Erial, is charged with stealing the jewelry from a Jerome Avenue home sometime between early December 2012 and late January. Police say he sold the stolen jewelry to We Buy Gold in Winslow Township for about $14,000. Detectives investigating the theft spoke to We Buy Gold’s owner, Anthony Natale, who police said agreed to cooperate. Natale reportedly told police he needed until the next day to locate the jewelry. Instead, police allege, Natale, 50, of Atco, told his employees to sell the remaining jewelry back to the victim for $3,915. The victim …
