Darnell Loatman Arrested for Bomb Threats at Clementon Park, High School

State Police say the Bridgeton man is responsible for two bomb threats. He's jailed on $100,000 bail.

New Jersey State Police arrested a 22-year-old Bridgeton man they say is responsible phoning in a bomb threat that forced 5,000 customers to flee Clementon Park. Detectives arrested Darnell Loatman on June 22, according to a June 25 release from state police. Police used surveillance videos to obtain a description of Loatman and his vehicle, which detectives located, police said. Shortly after, Loatman was arrested. Detectives also fingered Loatman in June 7 bomb threat called in to Cumberland Regional High School, which prompted a school evacuation. Loatman is charged with two counts of false public alarms and two counts of terroristic threats. Unable to post his $100,000, Loatman was held at Cumberland County Jail. Additional charges are…
