I am sure the MacDonald family, and all the people that worked and ate at those places are thrilled about all those closings too.

Stone Grill, MacDonalds, Charlie Brown's, Cherrywood Lounge - all closed on or around a short stretch of Blackwood Clementon Road in Gloucester Twp. There are a whole bunch more on the Black Horse Pike on the way to Camden. Those buildings have mostly been torn down. Been in America long?

ReplyWhy don't we just close all the bars, night clubs and restaurants that serve alcolholic beverages. Most are closed now anyway because of all the DWI's. While we're at it, let's just go back to prohibition.

ReplyEnough is enough. MADD doesn't even support lowering the level. It's the 2 and 3 times the limit drivers you always hear about. We do need to make penalties comparable for cell phoning and texting while driving.

ReplyNice thought, but thre PA FBI has about the same propensity to investigate corruption as the NJ FBI. It took them 30 years to take down Fumo in PA. But it may be worth a try.

ReplyWe already knew from the Pay to Play fiasco (and other cases) that the courts are controlled by the boss of this county. Not a big surprise here.

ReplyEyes on the Camden County Machine? Well it only took 30 years to finally do something about Fumo. It's probably getting close to 30 years here.

Texting drivers are the most dangerous of them all. They repeatedly make conscious and unimpaired decisions to not pay attention, to take their hands off the wheel, and to take their eyes off the road. All they have to do is wait or pull over. Those people should be put away on the spot.
