About Joshua

Joshua has been a resident of Gloucester Township since buying his first home here in 1999 with his former wife.  He is the father of three energetic boys who remind him of his parents' curse that he have children who are just like him.  As a recent believer in Karma, he no longer questions the advice of his parents.

He is an Engineer, with an undergrad in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science in Engineering from Rowan University.  He is currently working as a Solutions Architect for software testing and test automation.  He applies enginering practices throughout his life, including how to form a better government.

Government reform and being "involved" has been a hobby of his since getting involved in the drive for a NJ Citizens Constitutional Convention in 2004 to fix the states broken system of property taxation.  When he isn't attending public meetings or chasing his kids, he can be found working on his old Camaro and buying WaWa French Vanilla Coffee wondering why the kids working the cash register call him "sir".

Joshua uses a mixture of humor, sarcasm, research, and not-so common sense in his writing.  He is not a fan of pre-canned biographies as they tend to read like encyclopedia entries that don't truly capture the persons essence or who they really are.

Hi Joshua -
I saw your editoral in the Courier-Post. I thank you for being so proactive in our township government and ensuring that Gloucester Township continues to be a great place to live, work, and play. We need more citizens like you in this township.

Joshua, Terrestria got back to me on the hall rental.

"It is $150.00 to rent the hall and you need one day event insurance for it. We don’t normally rent the clubhouse during the week. "

It would be best to get it on a week day night when people are in town. I don't think this would be a problem with them, but what do I know :)

If you know a number of your neighbors, we'll come over to one of your houses and speak to a group of you. If we can;t do the clubhouse, at least a few families is better than nothing.

And thanks for your help on this. We do have a facebook page and group if you are interested. You can add any and all of your friends and neighbors to the group.

Joshua, I talked to the
manager at Terrestria, who said she talked to the president of the HOA. She said Terrestria will not
provide any help in trying to obtain signatures for the Pay to Play ban. Oh well. All the dumb assed garbage they publish in their news letter, you would think something addressing their high taxes would merit a passing interest. I'm not connected with any of the insiders there, so I have no influence with them. I guess that means we have to go door to door.

I greatly appreciate your constant reminders to others to keep the dialogue civil. I really do. My only regret is it has to be constant.
