Enough with the pot shots! I have NO side here. I have no friends in Gloucester Twp. I'm not buddies with Darren. I'm not buddies with Josh. I'm not buddies with Orlando. I expect the pot shots from YMBDFA and N/A. They rant and ramble. But I have to answer to an insinuation you made in a comment today. You insinuate that I did not mention that Mr. Traylor interrupted the Council vice president during Monday's meeting. If you read just a few paragraphs down, you'll see this line: "Gladden snickered at Mercado's comments, which came during the portion of the meeting during which Council members offer closing remarks." I don't think I should need to write twice that Mr. Mercado's comments came during "his time." Listen, it's not my job to explicitly call people rude. I didn't do it when Mr. Moffa interrupted Mr. Gladden three-plus weeks ago. And I didn't do it when Mr. Traylor (by words) and Mr. Gladden (by snickering out loud) interrupted Mr. Mercado this week. I'll leave that to the commenters. Thank you.

I'm not going to argue this out in public with you. You can have the last word.

I do want to ask you:

Why not do both? Why not blog about the things you and your friends are doing in the community? Wouldn't that help your cause(s)? I don't think the two have to be mutually exclusive. If you don't want to blog, maybe you know someone who thinks like you who does.

Articles about GT government are almost exclusively written by me, and are fact-based. Sometimes you won't like the facts. Sometimes you will. Blogs are written by, well, bloggers who have reached out to me and asked for space here to share their opinions. The comments section is just that—a place for readers to leave comments and, apparently and regrettably, to argue amongst each other.

I challenge you to find a single article I've written about solar where I even once mention a previous administration's attempts to bring solar to GEMS. You won't find one, because none has been written. I don't think it's relevant. It didn't happen. Lots of things get talked about and never happen. I also challenge you to do your research and come back here and tell me that my articles on the Owens-Corning property solar project have not all mentioned that it will get Chews Elementary School significantly cheaper electricity (not sure about your carbon footprint angle). You apparently want a cheerleader website. Well, that's not going to happen. The good is applauded, the bad is exposed. That's what we do in this field.

Hi, Kalena, Thanks for reading Patch. Just curious about a statement you made this morning: "Same 4 or 5 guys throwing out false facts to see what stick and now they've dragged the editor into the mix!" How have I been "dragged into the mix" by anyone on either side of this hyper-partisan town? In reference to the article on which you made that comment, I'm fairly certain what I did was present the facts of the budget as presented by Mr. Cardis, took a counter-perspective about the zero-hike from someone I clearly ID'd as a Republican player in town and gave Mr. Cardis space to respond. Are you insinuating I've been unfair in my reporting? If so, I would have to disagree. When covering a meeting, it's not my job to write the next day, "Atta job, boys. Way to go." Just curious what you meant.

Hi, Kalena, I deleted Darren Gladden's comment. Please refrain from one-on-one arguments with him moving forward. Thank you.
