Salvatore's Trattoria to Open on Thursday

The township's newest Italian restaurant will open in the former Tuscan Tavern building on College Drive.

Salvatore’s Trattoria, an Italian family-friendly restaurant, will open its doors for business on Thursday.

The new restaurant occupies the former Tuscan Tavern restaurant's space in the Laurel Hill Plaza, at 2001 College Drive.

Tuscan Tavern closed its doors in early 2010. The building has been empty ever since. Unlike the Tuscan Tavern, which had a full bar, Salvatore’s will be a BYOB.

This is the only location for the Trattoria, which will feature traditional Italian specialties ranging from $10 to $30. The restaurant will serve both lunch and dinner and will be open seven days a week, from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Salvatore’s website is not fully completed, but should be in time for the opening.
