Thanksgiving Dinner Out!

Maybe you don’t want to cook or you simply want to escape the traditional family meal and dine out--either way, there are plenty of restaurants open in the Township and the surrounding area. You can grab a full Thanksgiving meal to go (and wow your guests!), dine in on traditional food or grab a beer and wings after a long day with family. 

Whichever you choose, call ahead for reservations and wait times.

A Traditional Feast--right in the Township

will be open on Thanksgiving starting at 1 p.m. The holiday menu will include all the basics--like turkey and stuffing, plus some extras like prime rib, ham and crab cakes. Dinner is $23.95/adults and $16.95/children. Reservations are strongly suggested.

Happy Hour

Opening at 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving, will feature its standard menu of wings, beer and other bar food. Happy Hour specials will be available and no reservations are required. The other restaurants in the Shoppes at Cross-Keys plaza will be closed.

Feast, just outside of town

Travel to Arugula Restaurant in nearby Sewell, for a four-course meal at $35/person. Select from appetizers like butternut squash tortelloni and then move onto soup or salad, an entree, side items and of course, pumpkin pie. Reservations are required and dinner will be served from 2-8 p.m. Adelphia’s in Deptford and in Turnersville are offering similar Thanksgiving menus. Both prefer reservations. 

Restaurant Food to Go: Maggianos

If you are looking for a fantastic gourmet meal to eat at home without cooking, pre-order a full Thanksgiving meal for five people for $195 at Maggianos in Cherry Hill. The meal includes a salad, choice of two entrees (turkey, ham or tilapia), three sides, two pasta dishes and two desserts. The same menu, priced at $39.95 per person, is available for dine-in.
